SAN PEDRO MUSIC FESTIVAL ROCKED ON

It was ‘hotter than July’ in San Pedro with a FREE music festival for all!

Windy City Entertainment presented the 2nd Annual SAN PEDRO MUSIC FESTIVAL at the 1500 seat, art-deco, historic Warner Grand Theatre, 478 W 6th St., San Pedro. CA, Sunday, July 31, 2022, 4-9 pm.

The exciting lineup included a tribute to Stevie Wonder by his backing ensemble WonderLove;
international jazz/soul singing sensation Windy Barnes; The Habits, our local favorite male duo;
Victor Orlando & Fun-Ja-Ja, world class local musicians; the R&B sounds of Resurrection Road;
Wylde Bunch; Andre Washington; Heru Yahli and many more. Mistress of Ceremony was Broadway, film and television star, Roz Ryan.

Local vendors presented eye-popping merch and local restaurants and food trucks offered tasty bites during intermissions.

 
A VIP reception from 3-4pm, with music by the Dynamic Duo; a silent auction; fun raffles; the
“Purple Carpet“ and lots of celebrity sightings kicked off the evening creating fun memories to
last a lifetime. 

“It was the perfect time to honor our planet and our ancestors as we celebrated professional musicians for their dedication to healing the earth through their musical gifts and talents,” said Windy Barnes Farrell. “We're back and were absolutely thrilled to safely offer a music festival that represented the demographic make up of San Pedro and brought all ages together in a fun and meaningful way.”

Sponsors were LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn and Windy City Entertainment Inc..  WCE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Proceeds  supported WCE’s Heal My Family Program.

“Our main goal is to assist families with grief counseling, food and funeral expenses after the loss of loved ones due to gun and gang violence in San Pedro and the greater Los Angeles area,” said Windy Barnes Farrell, founder and president.
